Peter Obi Advocates for Competent Leadership in Nigeria

On Saturday, during a visit to Aba, Abia State, Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State, highlighted the necessity for competent leadership in Nigeria. His remarks were made while meeting with stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), invited by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, who represents Abia South.

Obi expressed gratitude to Abaribe's team for their warm reception and commended Governor Alex Otti for his significant contributions to the development of Aba, particularly in enhancing the city's economic potential. In a media interview with Magic FM, Obi described this as his first radio and television appearance of the year, where he discussed the importance of Aba in Nigeria's economy, particularly in the garment and shoe sectors, which could generate substantial revenue if managed properly.

He reiterated that Nigeria's progress depends on effective leadership at all levels.
