Tinubu's Aide Claims Obi's Supporters Are Bots

Bwala, a special adviser to President Bola Tinubu, made controversial remarks regarding supporters of former presidential candidate Peter Obi, labeling them as "largely not human beings" due to reports of bot accounts among the "Obidients." In an interview on Channels Television's Politics Today on Thursday, Bwala responded to questions about President Tinubu's reactions to Obi's support. He noted that Obi received approximately 6.1 million votes in the 2023 presidential election, attributing his support to religious rhetoric and emphasizing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) fielded a Muslim-Muslim ticket to consolidate support.

Bwala argued that religious leaders who previously backed Obi no longer do so and questioned Obi's leadership and management skills, referencing his past association with Obi during his tenure as Anambra State governor.
