Former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is reportedly considering a return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), gaining momentum amid reconciliation talks. Obi, who served as Atiku Abubakar's running mate in the 2019 general election, defected to the Labour Party in 2022 and contested the 2023 presidential race. Despite participating in recent opposition alliances, Obi has not formally resigned from the Labour Party.
