‘Peter Obi Is Still Consulting’ – Ononuju Speaks On Ex-Presidential Candidate Returning To PDP

Former presidential candidate Peter Obi is reportedly still consulting with his associates about a possible return to the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This comes after Obi left the party alongside his supporters ahead of the 2023 general election.

Despite pressure from party members to make a comeback, Obi has not confirmed whether he will rejoin the PDP or stay with the Labour Party. One of Obi's close associates, Katch Ononuju, revealed that talks about his return are already underway.

Ononuju, a founding leader of the Obidient Movement, disclosed in an interview with Vanguard that consultations are ongoing. The decision on whether Obi will return to the PDP is still pending as discussions continue.
