Obi Supporters Demand NDC Reverse Agada's Appointment

Supporters of Peter Obi are calling on the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) to reverse the appointment of Theo Abu Agada as Director of New Media Strategy. The group issued a statement on Wednesday, expressing that Agada's association with Seriake Dickson, a former governor of Bayelsa, is disrespectful to Obi's political movement.

They criticized Agada for previously making comments that they view as hostile towards Obi and for attempting to link Obi's support to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The statement emphasized that such remarks could endanger the political movement and questioned the judgment of NDC leadership in making this appointment.

The supporters demanded an immediate reversal of Agada's appointment and a public explanation from NDC leadership regarding their decision. They urged the party to ensure that individuals with a history of hostility towards Obi's support base are not placed in strategic positions within the party.
