Dickson Warns Obi Supporters Against Disparaging NDC

Seriak Dickson, the leader of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), issued a warning to supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate, during an interview on Wednesday. He stated that individuals cannot support Obi while simultaneously disparaging the NDC's leadership.

Dickson highlighted the contradiction in publicly supporting Obi while criticizing and insulting the party's leadership. He stressed that the NDC provides the political structure necessary for Obi's candidacy and mentioned that the party plays a central role in the political arena as the 2027 general elections approach.

Dickson insisted that the NDC remains open to attracting prominent politicians, including Obi and Rabi'u Kwankwaso, who may join its ranks. He reiterated that the NDC has already positioned itself to support Obi as its sole presidential candidate and called for respect towards the party's leadership to promote unity ahead of the upcoming elections.
