Peterside Takes Charge as CIoD Port Harcourt Chairman

Peterside was inaugurated as the 5th Chairman of the Port Harcourt branch of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD) during a ceremony held in Port Harcourt. He expressed pride in accepting the leadership role and committed to promoting the values and principles of the institute across the region and the country.

His tenure will prioritize increasing the visibility of CIoD, expanding its membership, and mentoring the next generation of corporate leaders. The focus will include attracting senior civil and public service members to embrace good governance principles.

Peterside introduced the acronym VMM, which stands for visibility, membership, and mentorship, to encapsulate his service objectives. The CIoD House in Port Harcourt will serve as an administrative hub and repository of corporate knowledge, enhancing operational infrastructure.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Adetunji Oyebanji, Chairman of the Governing Council of CIoD Nigeria, who emphasized the strategic importance of the Port Harcourt branch in promoting sound corporate governance and ethical leadership in Nigeria.
