Nigerian Students Win Gold at International STEM Olympiad

Three Nigerian students, Egejurum Onyedikachi (11 years old), Chimdiebub Onwubiko (13 years old), and Don Anel Munachimso (17 years old), won gold medals at the International STEM Olympiad held at the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, Italy. This event attracted participants from 150 countries, highlighting the students' exceptional performance in mathematics and science.

Onyedikachi excelled in the primary category for mathematics, while Onwubiko and Munachimso secured gold medals in science. Their achievements were celebrated across Nigeria, showcasing the resilience and determination of young scholars on a global academic stage.

The competition was organized by Alex Onyia, CEO of Educare, who sponsored the students' participation by covering registration, visa, flight, accommodation, and travel expenses. This success follows their qualification through the Southeast Mathematics Olympiad, which had 11,500 participants.

The students' accomplishments reflect Nigeria's growing presence in international academic competitions.
