Nigerian Petrol Supply Surges to 74.2m Litres Daily with Dangote Refinery Boost

The Nigerian petrol supply has surged to 74.2 million litres per day, driven by Dangote Refinery's increased production output. The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority reported a rise in petrol availability to 29 days' worth of stock.

Dangote Refinery's daily petrol production rose to 32.01 million litres in December, contributing to a total supply of 960 million litres for the month. This increase has positively impacted the nation's fuel supply during the festive season, with domestic demand rising.

However, government-owned refineries remained largely inactive, affecting overall supply levels.
