PGA Nigeria Raises Alarm Over Illegal Emergency General Meeting in Lagos

The Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Nigeria has denounced an illegal Emergency General Meeting (EGM) planned in Lagos. Dr.

Toni Philmoor, the Executive Director of PGA Nigeria, issued a statement in Abuja highlighting the illegality of the EGM. The court has jurisdiction over the matter and ruled against the EGM, prompting the cancellation by the PGA Nigeria's Executive Committee.

The Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) has stepped in to address the issue, emphasizing that the aggrieved parties did not follow due process in convening the meeting. The statement dissociates PGA Nigeria from any activities related to the illegal EGM, warning that engaging in such actions would be considered illegal.
