Pharmacists Praise Fintiri for Healthcare Revolution in Adamawa

Pharmacists have commended Governor Ahmad Umar Fintiri for his revolutionary contributions to healthcare and infrastructure in Adamawa State. At the 2026 Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) colloquium, Ayuba Tanko Ibrahim, President of PSN, acknowledged the visible transformation in healthcare delivery and infrastructure under Fintiri's leadership.

He described the governor's development strides as a testament to visionary leadership. Ibrahim expressed satisfaction with the pace of development, noting several inaugurated projects and ongoing initiatives that are transforming Yola into a modern urban hub.

Past PSN President Olumid Akintayo emphasized the importance of the pharmaceutical industry in solidifying healthcare systems, while Cyril Odianos Usifoh praised the strategic focus of the conference. Nwaka Ohuama, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Pharmaceutical Matters, remarked on the ongoing health sector reforms aimed at positioning Adamawa as a sub-Saharan hub for medical tourism.
