Adamawa Governor Fintiri Reshuffles Cabinet for Efficiency

On Wednesday, Adamawa Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri announced a cabinet reshuffle aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery across key sectors as he enters the final phase of his tenure. The reshuffle includes the reassignment of Sali Idri, who previously served as Commissioner for Livestock and Aquaculture Development, to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Prof. David Jatau has been reassigned to head the Ministry of Livestock. Additionally, Muhammad Chubado has been redeployed to the Ministry of Energy Development, while the Ministry of Health and Human Services will see changes as well.

Usman Lamurd has been appointed to temporarily oversee the Ministry of Livestock during Prof. Jatau's sick leave. The reshuffle also includes the appointment of a new leader for the Ministry of Information Strategy, replacing Jame Iliya, who recently resigned to pursue political ambitions ahead of the upcoming elections, seeking nomination from his party to contest for the Demsa constituency seat in the Adamawa State House of Assembly.
