Philip Aduda Resigns from PDP, Set to Join APC

Philip Aduda has officially resigned from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), with his resignation letter dated March 17 addressed to the party leadership in Karu Ward. In his letter, Aduda acknowledged the various electoral positions he held and expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by the party.

However, he cited ongoing crises within the PDP as a significant factor in his decision to leave. Close associates of Aduda have indicated that he is expected to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the near future, particularly as the party aims to secure a victory in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Aduda has previously worked closely with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, who has been critical of the PDP's performance. Additionally, Ireti Kingibe has vowed not to return to the Senate.
