Nigeria's House Committee Hosts Workshop on Mining Security

Julius Ihonvber, serving as the Chairman of the House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee on Mining, convened a stakeholder workshop in Abuja on Monday. The workshop's theme centered on legislative reforms intended to enhance security in Nigeria's mining sector.

Key participants included Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem and Hussaini Jalol Dure, both members of the committee. The discussions aimed to address the challenges of exploitation, insecurity, and illicit financing that threaten the integrity and development of Nigeria's mining industry.
