Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre Welcomes New Commandant for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training

Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Nnaemeka Ignatius Ilo has taken command at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) as part of a senior officer reshuffle directed by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek. The NAFRC serves as a rehabilitation, demobilization, and resettlement center for retired soldiers, providing vocational training and entrepreneurship management.

AVM Ilo conducted a familiarization tour of the Centre to assess facilities and interact with personnel, emphasizing the importance of equipping retired military personnel with relevant skills for a smooth transition post-service. He pledged to prioritize conducive learning environments, welfare improvements, and infrastructure investments to enhance personnel capacity and support national security and development.
