Nigerian Army Conducts Major Reshuffle, Redeploys Over 2,200 Officers Nationwide

The Nigerian Army has executed a significant reshuffling affecting 2,215 personnel, including the movement of 37 major generals to new positions. Major General Farouk Mijinyawa is appointed as the GOC 81 Division, Major General Ibikunle Ajos becomes the Deputy Chief of Policy and Plans at the Army Headquarters, and Major General B.P.

Koughna is named GOC 8 Division. Major General Babalola is redeployed to lead the 81 Division in Lagos.

The changes aim to enhance operational capabilities, with the Army Headquarters confirming the reshuffle as part of routine efforts to strengthen operations.
