Borno and Kano Triumph in 2025 National Qur’anic Competition

Borno and Kano emerged as the overall winners of the 2025 National Qur’anic Competition held in Maiduguri. The event, attended by dignitaries including Governor Babagana Zulum, celebrated the commitment to peace, education, and knowledge through Quranic teachings.

The competition saw 296 contestants from 30 states across six categories, with Hafsat Muhammad Sada from Kano and Musa Ahmad Musa from Borno clinching top honors. The event symbolized a return to peace in Borno State and highlighted the importance of religious education in fostering spiritual growth.
