Dignitaries Attend Anthony Adeosun's Burial Service

On August 5, 2026, a burial service was held for Anthony Adeosun, the husband of Nigeria's Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos State. Anthony, a reputable businessman, passed away at the age of 62.

Adeosun, issued on behalf of the family, described him as a devoted Christian who positively impacted the lives of those around him. The service was attended by notable figures, including former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, former governors Babatunde Fashola of Lagos and Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti, Florence Ajimobi, the widow of late Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, ex-President of the African Development Bank Akinwunmi Adesina, and Dr. Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Kemi, their children, and his siblings, including Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital. Following the service, the family proceeded to a private burial.
