Wike's PDP Faction Inspects Venue for March 2026 Convention

Nyesom Wike's faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) conducted an inspection of a proposed venue for the upcoming party convention, which is slated for March 29-30, 2026. The inspection was led by Abdulrahman Moham, the chairman of the National Caretaker Working Committee faction, alongside Samuel Anyanwu, the party's national secretary.

This visit to the venue in Ibadan, Oyo State, is part of their efforts to ensure the successful execution of the convention, particularly as they face challenges from a rival faction led by Taminu Turaki. The faction aims to solidify its position and achieve its objectives in the face of ongoing disputes within the party.
