Zazzau and Gombe Emirs Strengthen Ties for Unity

Emirs from Zazzau, represented by Mallam Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, and Gombe convened to seek greater collaboration among traditional rulers to address issues affecting national cohesion and grassroots development. The meeting, held at the Zazzau Palace in Zaria, aimed to strengthen the long-standing historical ties between the two emirates, which date back to the 19th century and share a common Islamic heritage rooted in the jihad led by Usman Dan Fodio.

The Gombe Emir emphasized the need for regular consultations among traditional leaders to promote peace, unity, and cultural heritage preservation. The visit reaffirmed the commitment of both emirs to support initiatives that foster national integration and development, particularly during challenging socio-economic times.

Special prayers were offered for peace, stability, and prosperity in Kaduna, Gombe, and Nigeria at large.
