Adebayo Demands Justice During Visit to Plateau Killings

On Monday, Prince Adewole Adebayo, a former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, visited Angwa Rukuba in Plateau State to express condolences to families affected by recent killings. During his visit, he emphasized the fragile security situation in Nigeria's Middle Belt and called for urgent government action to ensure justice for victims.

Adebayo criticized the inadequate security presence and slow response to distress calls, highlighting the pain and suffering caused by recurring violence. He urged residents not to lose hope and insisted that justice must prevail, warning that impunity would only embolden further violence.

Adebayo also called on President Bola Tinubu to seize this moment to strengthen national security and restore public confidence. Haruna Bala, the district head of Angwa Rukuba, lamented the absence of security personnel during the attacks and appealed for the upgrading of police stations and outposts to enhance community security.
