Adebayo Calls for Stronger Security in Plateau State

During a visit to Plateau State, Princ Adewol Adebayo, leader of the Social Democratic Party, strongly condemned the recent wave of deadly attacks that have resulted in the killing of innocent residents. He described these killings as dastardly and unacceptable.

Adebayo criticized government leaders for failing to uphold their primary responsibility of protecting lives and property, stressing that the government must prioritize security above all else. He directed a message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reminding him of his constitutional duty to ensure the safety of Nigerians.

Adebayo highlighted that the country possesses sufficient resources and intelligence capabilities to tackle insecurity but criticized the lack of genuine political will to address the issue. He warned that continued instability in Plateau State and the wider Middle Belt poses a serious threat to national unity.

Adebayo called for unity among residents to rise above ethnic and religious divisions and work together to identify and isolate criminal elements, emphasizing the need for justice to restore order and confidence in the region.
