Pochettino Confident Chelsea Can Compete for Title

Mauricio Pochettino, the former coach of Tottenham, expressed confidence that Chelsea can contend for the Premier League title under the management of Xabi Alonso, despite Chelsea's recent 2-1 defeat to Arsenal. Speaking on Sky Sports, Pochettino noted that while Chelsea and Tottenham are potential title contenders, Arsenal, led by Mikel Arteta, remains a formidable opponent due to their consistency.

Pochettino emphasized the need for time to allow Alonso to implement his strategies effectively. Chelsea had entered the match against Arsenal after winning their first two league games and were only three points behind the league leaders.

Although Chelsea's primary goal is Champions League qualification, their attacking capabilities were highlighted in a recent 6-3 victory over Leeds in the Carabao Cup, showcasing the talents of players like Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers. Pochettino's predictions regarding Chelsea's title challenge will be tested in the upcoming weeks.
