Polaris Bank Renovates University of Ibadan Faculty Building

Polaris Bank has undertaken a full renovation of the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences building at the University of Ibadan, a significant intervention that reflects the bank's commitment to advancing education and human capital development in Nigeria. The building, originally gifted to the university in 1985 by the defunct International Bank for West Africa (IBWA), has served as a landmark for academic excellence over the past four decades.

During the presentation ceremony held last Thursday, Kayode Lawal, the Managing Director and CEO of Polaris Bank, highlighted the strategic importance of the bank's intervention, stating that education is a powerful catalyst for national transformation. The renovation aims not only to preserve the historical structure but also to create an inspiring space for the next generation of economists, bankers, and financial experts who will shape Nigeria's economic future.

The project, scheduled for completion within six weeks, will significantly enhance lecture theatres and improve research spaces, thereby elevating the quality of education for current and future students.
