Polaris Bank, represented by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Kayod Lawal, highlighted its unwavering commitment to women empowerment initiatives during a seminar commemorating International Women's Day on March 8, 2026. The event featured guest speakers Tomi Somefun, former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of United Bank PLC, and Belinda Nkechi Indimachi, an entrepreneurship specialist from ALX Africa.

They emphasized that significant societal progress often begins with investing in others, particularly women, who, when supported, can thrive and contribute to stronger families, institutions, and economies. Abimbola Ozomah, the bank's Executive Director, noted that empowering women transcends corporate social responsibility and is essential for institutional growth and innovation.
