Enugu Police Arraign 51-Year-Old Man for Alleged Murder of Cousin

Emeka Emmanuel Nwangwu, a member of a neighborhood security watch group, has been arraigned by the Enugu State Police Command for the alleged murder of his 19-year-old cousin, Loveth Uloma Nwangwu, in Nsukka. The suspect was arraigned following the conclusion of investigations by the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The incident occurred on December 1, 2025, resulting in the assault of the victim, who later succumbed to her injuries. The case has been charged in the Enugu State Magistrate Court, with the directive for the suspect to be remanded.

Mamman Bitru Giwa, the Commissioner of Police in Enugu, has assured the victim's family of justice and progress in the legal proceedings.
