Police Arrest Suspect in Abduction and Murder of Six-Year-Old Girl Linked to Native Doctor

Anambra State Police Command arrested Fridai Akonobi for his involvement in the abduction and killing of a six-year-old girl, Ozioma Nwankwo, in Ebonyi State. The case is linked to a native doctor, Obiez Ezeani, in Enugu.

Akonobi confessed during interrogation and implicated four accomplices who are currently at large. The victim was allegedly taken to Enugu, where she was murdered for ritual purposes.

The arrest followed credible intelligence, and investigations are ongoing.
