Abuja Lawyer Victor Giwa Arrested in Lagos for Forgery - Latest Updates

Abuja-based lawyer Victor Giwa has been arrested in Lagos after being declared wanted by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court. The arrest followed a bench warrant issued by Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie for Giwa's failure to appear in court for arraignment on charges of forgery and impersonation.

The police accused Giwa and others of conspiring to forge documents to mislead the Federation. Giwa is currently held at the Zone 2 police headquarters in Lagos and is expected to be transferred to Abuja.

Efforts are ongoing to apprehend another suspect, Ibitade Bukola Olugbenga. The case has been adjourned to October 8 for further proceedings.
