Osun Police Arrest Mukaila Adeyemo for Defiling Minor
The Osun State Police Command announced the arrest of 45-year-old Mukaila Adeyemo for defiling a minor in Ikire town. According to Public Relations Officer Abiodun Ojelabi, Adeyemo committed the act on two occasions.
The first incident occurred in September 2026 when he lured the victim to his house under the pretense of needing her help to buy items. On October 2, the victim's birthday, Adeyemo again lured her to his workshop in Ilupeju, where he took her to a nearby bush and defiled her.
After the act, he fled when passersby noticed them. The victim reported the incident to bystanders, who subsequently apprehended Adeyemo and handed him over to the police.
Ojelabi urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to prevent such crimes.
