Oyo Police Arrest Three Kidnappers Linked to Abduction

On April 21, the Oyo State Police Command confirmed the arrest of three suspects linked to a kidnapping incident in the Ido Local Government Area. The suspects, identified as Musa Ajibola (29), Hassan Mohammadu (63), and Umaru Hassan (19), were apprehended at Latayo Farm Settlement in Ido following credible intelligence provided by members of the public.

The police stated that the suspects were connected to the kidnapping of a resident, Marian Remi, and the subsequent release of the victim. Public Relations Officer Olayinka Ayanlade emphasized the significance of this breakthrough in the investigation of previous kidnapping incidents in the area.

The Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Abimbola, directed the operation that led to the arrests and reassured residents of their safety, urging continued cooperation with security agencies to combat crime effectively.
