Police Arrest Three for Possessing Human Skull in Osun

On June 17, 2026, the Osun State Police Command arrested three suspects for allegedly possessing a human skull. The investigation was initiated after Abiodun Ojelabi reported that the grave of his late elder brother, located within the family compound, had been tampered with on June 15, 2026.

Following credible intelligence, police operations led to the identification and arrest of Ogunsola Ojo, aged 40, who implicated three others: Ayeloja Lattef, Azeez Rashe, and Kunle Fatai. A search of Fatai's residence resulted in the recovery of a human skull concealed in an incomplete building beside his house.

Subsequent searches at Kunle Fatai's residence also yielded a human skull. The police reiterated their commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining public confidence in the rule of law.

The suspects are expected to be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
