Fintiri Appoints Mustapha to Northern Nigeria Security Board

On Tuesday, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri announced the appointment of Mustapha, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, to the board of the Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund. This appointment reflects the administration's commitment to strengthening the security architecture in the region and ensuring effective representation for Adamawa State in decision-making processes related to security.

The Northern Nigeria Security Trust Fund was established by the Northern Governors Forum to complement the efforts of security agencies and support intelligence coordination, operational logistics, and inter-state collaboration for community-based security initiatives across the 19 northern states. Governor Fintiri described Mustapha as a seasoned public servant whose wealth of experience and proven leadership capabilities will significantly contribute to the objectives of the Trust Fund.

He expressed concern over the prevailing security challenges in the country, particularly in Northern Nigeria, and emphasized the need for proactive measures to address issues such as banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, and communal clashes.
