Abia Police Dismantle Criminal Camp in Umunneochi Forest

On June 28, 2026, the Abia State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Danladi Isa, successfully dismantled a criminal camp situated in Unuobasi Forest, Umunneochi Local Government Area. The operation was executed by the Violent Crime Response Unit in collaboration with local security outfits.

DSP Maureen Chinaka, representing the police command, issued a statement emphasizing the commitment to preventing crime and apprehending criminals. The police assured residents that there would be no safe haven for criminals within the state and encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
