Gbajabiamila Cleared of Allegations, Hosts Empowerment Event

Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, stated that investigations by the Nigerian Police, DSS, and ICPC cleared him of any wrongdoing regarding allegations against his office. Speaking at the 2026 Gbaja mega empowerment event in Lagos, he expressed gratitude to those who supported him during the scrutiny.

Gbajabiamila noted that the allegations were found to be baseless and emphasized the importance of due process, thanking President Tinubu for not rushing to judgment. He highlighted the challenges of public service and reassured his commitment to his responsibilities despite attempts to distract him.

The allegations stemmed from investigations into the purported Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), which the ICPC found no evidence linking him to. He also warned against individuals misusing his name for fraudulent activities.

The empowerment program he hosted was valued at approximately ₦1.15 billion, benefiting around 5,000 residents in Surulere.
