Lagos Police Detain Officers Linked to Assault on Actor Ijoba Lande

The Lagos State Police Command has identified and detained officers allegedly involved in the assault on Ijoba Lande, a popular actor and content creator. Ijoba Lande recently returned from the United Kingdom and raised the alarm on social media about the alleged assault by police officers.

The incident, which reportedly resulted in the seizure of an iPhone 16 Pro Max and $1,200 belonging to his brother, left visible injuries on his face and shirt. The video of the assault went viral, prompting discussions on police behavior.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed that the officers involved have been brought in for questioning. Investigations are ongoing, with statements being taken from the affected parties.
