Lagos Police Detain Officers Over Alleged Assault on Actor Ijoba Lande

The Lagos State Police Command has detained officers over the alleged assault on popular Nigerian actor and skit maker, Ganiyu Morufu, widely known as Ijoba Lande. The incident, which gained public attention after a video surfaced on social media, shows Ijoba Lande being assaulted and robbed by police officers.

In the video, the actor is seen with visible injuries, including bleeding on the left side of his face. The officers allegedly assaulted him and took his belongings, including an iPhone 16 Pro Max and cash.

The Lagos State Police Command has assured the public that the matter will be treated seriously, and appropriate action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
