Kano Police Arrest 6 Suspected Thieves, Recover Stolen Tricycles Worth Millions

The Kano State Police Command, led by spokesperson CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, apprehended six suspects in connection with the theft of tricycles in Kano. The arrests followed a report of stolen tricycles in the Panshekara quarter of Kano.

The stolen tricycles, valued at 3.5 million, were sold by one of the suspects, Umar Dahiru, for 2.6 million. Another suspect confessed to stealing tricycles and selling them to Dahiru for 2.7 million.

Two tricycles were recovered, and Dahiru admitted to purchasing them knowing they were stolen. The police, under the directive of Mr.

Ibrahim Bakori, are conducting further investigations to ensure the perpetrators face justice and reassure the public of the command's commitment to protecting lives and property.
