Kano Police Arrest Six Vehicle Theft Suspects, Recover Cars

The Kano State Police Command announced a significant breakthrough in combating vehicle theft by arresting six suspects linked to a syndicate. The arrests were made public on Monday morning by the police public relations officer, CSP Haruna Kiyawa.

The suspects, who reside in Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State, confessed to stealing several vehicles in Kano, Kaduna, and Katsina states. The individuals arrested include Abdulhamid Usman, Saliha Abdulhamid, Auwal Shuaibu, Sani Bala Ahmad Mannir, among others.

Their confessions led to the recovery of three stolen vehicles: a Golf Wagon, a Golf, and an Opel Hijet. The Kano State Police Command commended its special intervention squad for their dedicated efforts in making these arrests and recovering the stolen vehicles.
