Police Arrest 'Super M' in Mushin, Recover Firearm

On March 5, 2026, at 10:00 PM, the Lagos State Police Command conducted a night raid in Mushin, leading to the arrest of a suspect identified as Dare Shogaolu, popularly known as 'Super M'. The arrest occurred during a routine anti-crime patrol along LUTH Road, where police officers noticed Shogaolu carrying a suspicious white, orange, and yellow polyethylene bag.

Upon conducting a stop-and-search exercise, officers recovered a locally made pistol concealed inside the bag. Additionally, other items found in his possession included a black leather purse charm believed to provide protection and three pairs of slippers.

Preliminary investigations indicated that Shogaolu may be linked to several criminal incidents in the Mushin community. He is currently in police custody, where detectives continue to interrogate him to gather intelligence and identify other members of his suspected gang.
