Nigerian Police Arrest Nine Gunrunners and Drug Suppliers Linked to Bandits in Six States

The Nigeria Police Force has intensified its crackdown on criminal networks associated with banditry by arresting nine suspects involved in gunrunning and drug supplying across six states. The arrests, made between September and November 2025, led to the recovery of prohibited firearms, ammunition, and a large quantity of illicit drugs.

Notable individuals arrested include Adamu Zaki Babangida, Chibuk Nnaji, Joshua Izang, and Daudum Bayina. The operation aims to dismantle criminal networks fueling banditry, kidnappings, and violent crimes nationwide.
