Police Vow Justice After Attack Kills Three Officers

On May 2, 2026, three police officers were killed in a deadly attack on a police mobile force camp located in Tenebo Village, Kaiama Local Government Area, Kwara State. The Kwara State Police Command, represented by Commissioner Ojo Adekimi, expressed profound shock and sorrow over the incident, condemning the attack as a heinous and cowardly act.

Adekimi noted that the fallen officers paid the ultimate price in the line of duty while defending the safety and security of the community. He extended condolences to the families of the deceased officers and wished a speedy recovery to the injured personnel.

The police command assured the public that efforts would be made to track down the perpetrators of the attack, which was reportedly launched by suspected terrorists.
