Police Raid Nets Cable Vandals and Criminals in Akwa Ibom

In Akwa Ibom, the police conducted successful raids resulting in the arrest of cable vandals and criminals. In Uyo, one suspect was apprehended for drug-related offenses, while in Esit Eket, two individuals were caught vandalizing electrical cables belonging to the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company.

The suspects, including Kabiru Isa, Wisdom Nkereuwem Etefia, and Sunday Okon Kingsley, were arrested in separate operations. The police recovered substantial amounts of suspected cannabis and seized PHEDC cables from the crime scenes.

The suspects are currently in custody for further investigation, and the police are intensifying efforts to crack down on criminal activities in the region.
