Police Smash Vandals, Robbery Syndicates, Arrest 4 In Akwa Ibom

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has successfully cracked down on criminal elements in the state, leading to the arrest of four suspects involved in vandalism and armed robbery. Acting on credible information, police operatives raided the premises of a habitual vandal, Godstime Emmanuel James, in Midim Waterside, Abak local government area.

James, who had previously fled the community, was apprehended along with incriminating items. Additionally, an armed robbery syndicate responsible for multiple early morning robberies in Uyo was busted.

One suspect, Ubong Michael Patrick, confessed to the crimes, leading to the arrest of two other members of the gang. Recovered items included a black motorcycle, a pistol, and a long dagger knife.

The police are currently working to recover stolen items and have reassured residents of their commitment to ensuring safety and security in the state.
