Oyo Police Recover N6.25m Stolen Cattle, Arrest Rustlers in Surulere

The Oyo State Police Command recovered 26 stolen cows valued at N6.25m and arrested two suspects, Abu Muham and Aliu Bello, for cattle rustling in Surulere. The arrests were made following swift responses to reports received in Iresaadu.

The suspects attempted to conceal the stolen cattle but were intercepted in Odojay via Aganyan. The ongoing investigation has led to the recovery of the remaining stolen livestock, showcasing the effectiveness of proactive policing and intelligence-led operations.

The suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime and provided information on their criminal network.
