Kano Police Reunite Missing Teenager with Family

The Kano State Police Command has successfully reunited a missing teenager, identified as Yusuf Sabiu, with his family following an investigation. The 16-year-old was initially found in Dadin Kowa village, Doguwa Local Government Area, where he had claimed to be of Spanish nationality under the name Alex Ansol.

The police, through a statement by spokesperson Abdullahi Kiyawa, revealed that Yusuf's parents, Saminu Yusuf, aged 44, from Lere Local Government Area in Kaduna State, and Habiba Adam, aged 35, from Plateau State, were traced after thorough investigations. The police noted that the parents had been separated for 13 years.

Yusuf was formally handed over to his parents at the Doguwa Police Division. The police commended the media and public for their role in resolving the case and urged parents and guardians to promptly report missing persons to assist in swift interventions.
