Police Search Ex-Senator Abbo’s Home Over Alleged Rape Of Minor

Police detectives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja conducted a search at the Katampe residence of former Senator Elisha Abbo following allegations of raping a secondary school student. The search came after a petition was submitted accusing Abbo of raping Khadija Muhammad and attempting to assault her sister, Fatima Muhammad.

Sources revealed that during the search, the teenager allegedly pointed out the spot in the house where the assault took place. Abbo's wife interrupted the process, accusing the girl of stealing gold jewelry.

The petition detailed the harrowing account of the alleged incidents. The former senator was detained but later released on bail.
