Police Rescue 7 Kidnapped Residents in Abuja Bandits' Camp Raid

The FCT Police in Abuja dismantled a kidnapping syndicate in Ushafa, rescuing seven victims after a fierce gun battle with the suspects. The operation, led by spokesperson Sundai Josephin Adeh, followed a distress call on December 5, 2025.

The joint team of FCT Anti-Kidnap Unit, Army, and DSS traced the suspects to Kaduna state. After a seven-hour pursuit, the victims were rescued in Kweri Forest.

The Police Commissioner, Miller Dantaway, commended the operation and deployed additional personnel to prevent further kidnappings.
