Police Summon Ex-Kaduna Gov El-Rufai and ADC Members for Public Disturbance

The Nigeria Police in Kaduna State summoned former Governor Nasir El-Rufai and other key members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for allegedly inciting public disturbance. The police listed criminal conspiracy and causing grievous hurt among the allegations against them.

The former governor and six others, including ADC members, were requested to clarify the accusations at the State Criminal Investigation Department. The summoning followed a reported disruption during the inauguration of a transition committee member from the opposition party in Kaduna State.

The individuals summoned, including Bashir Sa'idu and Jafaru Sani, are required to address the allegations brought against them by the complainant.
