Rivers State Police Deny Kidnapping Attempt on Singer Teni Amid Gunshots

The Rivers State Police Command has refuted claims of a kidnapping attempt on Nigerian musician Teni during a performance in Degema, Rivers State. The Command clarified that the gunshots heard were not from kidnappers but from miscreants causing a scene at the venue, prompting security agents to intervene.

Eyewitnesses reported chaos as people fled the scene in fear. Teni, popularly known for her music, was invited to perform at the event organized at King Amachree Square in Degema.
