Ogidi Predicts Return of Defected Politicians to PDP

Emmanuel Ogidi, a chieftain, expressed confidence that politicians who have defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) will eventually return. During a live appearance on Trust TV on Wednesday, he discussed the mass exodus of politicians, particularly governors, to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

When asked about Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, who left the PDP, Ogidi described him as a gentleman and refrained from speaking ill of the party regarding his departure. Ogidi noted that the political landscape in Nigeria is changing, indicating a departure from traditional democratic practices.

He also addressed the rumors surrounding Fintiri's resignation from a state commission, clarifying that it was not due to political disagreements but rather a genuine desire to spend time with his father, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Ogidi assured that the administration would remain focused on national unity and broader political interests for the country's long-term stability.
